Dear Hiring Manager,
I am writing to express my interest in joining your team. I am a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science student at the University of the People and a recipient of the UoPeople Foundation Scholarship, and I combine that academic foundation with a working portfolio of 16 digital products built for small and medium-sized businesses in Ghana.
What I bring is a builder's discipline: I take a real operational problem, map the process behind it, design a solution people will actually use, and ship it. Recent examples include:
- Kudora — On-Demand Services Platform. An on-demand service platform helping customers discover and book barbering, salon, beauty and laundry services wherever they need them.
- AkatsiMarket — Local Business & Service Directory. A local information and vendor-connection pilot created from real enquiries about trusted businesses, accommodation, directions, prices and services in Akatsi.
- VoltaMarket — Regional Commerce & Tourism Platform. A regional platform concept for discovering markets, market days, vendors, local services, products, attractions and activities across Ghana's Volta Region.
Professionally, I work through Independent Practice as a Software Developer & Digital Solutions Entrepreneur. The work involves taking projects from scope through design, development, testing and iteration, while communicating clearly with the people the product is meant to serve.
I am comfortable owning a feature end to end, learning an unfamiliar codebase quickly, and asking the right questions early rather than guessing. I am open to remote, hybrid or Accra-based roles, and to internships or graduate positions where I can contribute while continuing to grow.
You can review my full background on my CV and browse the work itself on my projects page. Thank you for your time and consideration — I would welcome a conversation about how I can support your team.
Sincerely,
Theophilus Morkporkpor Kudzordzi
