kudorabeauty.com (opens in a new tab)Project Overview
Kudora is being developed as an on-demand services marketplace for beauty, grooming, salon, barbering and laundry providers, with a focus on service delivery at homes, offices, hotels and short-stay accommodation.
Problem Identified
Many independent service providers rely on word of mouth and social media messages to find customers. Customers, in turn, struggle to find verified providers who can come to them, agree a price and book a reliable time slot.
Proposed Solution
A structured marketplace where providers publish services, availability and pricing, and customers discover, request and book those services with clear expectations on both sides.
Target Users
- Independent beauty and grooming professionals
- Salons, barbershops and laundry businesses
- Busy professionals and households
- Hotels, guesthouses and short-stay hosts
Product Thinking
- Trust is the core product problem in a services marketplace, not the booking form.
- Providers need a simple profile that works as their digital presence, not just a listing.
- Pricing clarity reduces the negotiation friction that currently happens over chat.
- Mobile-first is not optional — most users will arrive on a smartphone.
Key Features
- Provider profiles and service catalogues
- Location-based service discovery
- Booking and request workflow
- Verification and review concepts
- Digital payment exploration
- Provider visibility tools
Technology & Product Approach
- Rapid prototyping with modern no-code and AI-assisted development tools
- Iterative design of booking and discovery flows before scaling features
- Structured data model for providers, services, locations and bookings
Lessons Learned
- Verification and reliability matter more to customers than the number of listings.
- Provider onboarding must be simple enough to complete on a phone in minutes.
- Solving one service category well is more valuable than launching with all of them.
